Please see below for some important announcements and updates as we approach the midterm break.

Well done to 3rd & 6th Year Mock Exam Students:

We would like to congratulate our 3rd Year and 6th Year students who completed their mock examinations this week. The students showed great commitment and effort throughout the exam period and we are very proud of how they approached this important milestone. We would also like to thank you for your continued support at home during this demanding time.

We look forward to working with the students as they reflect on their results and continue their preparation for the State Examinations.

Mock Assessment Reports:

We wish to inform you that VSware will be open from Monday, 2nd March to allow Parents/Guardians of 3rd Year and 6th Year students to view examination results. Please note that not all results will be available immediately.

There have been some delays in the past in the correction of both 3rd and 6th Year examination papers. As a result, results will continue to be uploaded as they are finalised. We kindly ask that you continue to log in periodically over the coming weeks to view updated results.

The reporting deadlines are as follows:

  • 3rd Year: All results will be available by Friday, 13th March 2026.
  • 6th Year: All results will be available by Friday, 27th March 2026, as these examination scripts can take longer to be returned and processed.

TY & Senior Cycle Programmes 2026/2027 Applications Update:

Our TY and Senior Cycle Team has been busy reviewing the applications and a letter regarding places in TY will be sent by 27th February to those who have applied.

New School Building– Term Update for Parents:

Please see information below as part of our commitment to keeping parents informed each term about progress on the new Clonturk Community College building.

The project to build our new school building is moving forward as part of the wider Swords Road Shared Educational Campus development. This campus will include:

  • Two new 1,000-pupil post-primary school buildings – Clonturk CC and Ellenfield CC (each with 6 special education classrooms)
  • One 8-classroom primary school (with 2 special education classrooms)
  • One 20-classroom special school

The project is currently at Stage 1 (initial architectural planning). This stage involves site and building assessments and the preparation of initial design sketch schemes.

The current timeline provided is:

  • Stage 1 report submission: late 2025
  • Stakeholder meeting and review: early 2026
  • Initial design sketches available: expected in the first quarter of 2026

At this point, the Department has said that construction timelines cannot be confirmed until all statutory approvals are secured.

We will continue to provide updates each term as new information becomes available.

Please note that on the week we return on Tuesday 24th of Feb, school closes at 14:25 due to a staff meeting.
